Norderney was well attended over the Easter holidays. Easter marks the beginning of the season. Carnival is like a test run, which are six weeks between Mardi Gras and Easter used to the last, smaller iron out problems, so everything is at Easter. Who wants to open a business that must begin no later than Easter. Last year Easter was in mid-April - there was therefore no "Easter hole" as the time from 1 May was short, it is a little different this year. The weather was somewhat cool and rainy. Norderney on the sun broke off though and through, but only very briefly. Retailers and restaurateurs on the western head has got this, the guests talked more on the western part of the island. The beach chairs have been abandoned while their winter camp, for a good rental, it was too cold and rainy. The bath house was very well attended. The first wave of return is on Monday (Holiday End Lower Saxony), the main departure will be Sunday (holiday end NRW). Despite the rather full island you have met on Easter Sunday Ostbadestrand almost anyone. The conditions were ideal for a walk - there was no wind, the air was through the night rain and the temperature is very clear there was Distance vision - you could clearly see the beach promenade of Baltrum.
