What Do You Need To Recap Bottles

Day 6 - Yosemite National Park

The next morning went off then to Yosemite National Park First, we made a stop in e iner beautiful mountain scenery, then g ings on to a lookout point over the mountains and Rock (a very famous rock was there, I've forgotten the name ...) and then we went into a forest, where we did a little walking tour.

where we passed the giant-quality trees, which had an incredibly large diameter! A tree trunk, which lay on the ground was hollowed out, so that one could easily pass through it! On the way back tour guide Bill had the idea to organize the 2km b ergauf to a little race. He and the two boys and I were there and Katrina, but Katrina had given up at the end and I was the winner of the women, uuuh yeah:-D Habs dana ch but unfortunately some regret, as you again sooo sweat came, half day or before a lay and Bill then mentioned that there will be cheer camp no showers - guuuut:-D But fortunately there's so many seas, - )

Then we went to the "center" of the park, where shuttle buses were at all possible stations in the park and many people were on the road. I'm with Julia and Ursula went to a small lake where you could cool off nicely. We also passed the largest waterfall in North America (largest = longest.)
had

first used as twilight had we arrived on our bib Campingp where we had to quickly set up our tents and everything smelling stuff (including toothbrush, deodorant, etc.) into a "Bärenbox" stow had, as there are many bears in the park and they are attracted by odors ... So there were no showers (!) and light it on the toilet was not ...:- D There was equipped with a guide, which has described what to do if a bear comes to the campsite. The program should then make it sooooo much noise ... ok:-D

The evening was very comfortable, was unfortunately our last night camping. (Can store stuff you have to smell, but then you cook, even illogical iwie ^ ^) Our first dinner was ready at 22.30, followed Thats has Smores and fortune cookies, a few funny stories and then we went off for the last time in the tents. The next day, our last stop was San Francisco on the map.

Day 5 - Death Valley, Sierra Nevada

The Thursday should be a hot day - the Sierra Nevada was our goal, with stops at the hottest place on earth, Death Valley (on that day they were there for about 50 ° C) .

At our first stop in Death Valley it was actually still with the heat. We were accustomed to Las Vegas as much as 44 ° C, so it is perhaps not quite as bad influences us GE . At our next stop wars but even more blatant and the sun burned our skin like never before. The landscape looked totally awesome, totally dried up and died out, really totally crazy! I found very impressive ...!

Overall, we made four stops, each of about 10 minutes. (Then it was a bit too hot), with each stop seemed to be hot: D

Our last stop was in sand dunes, in which some of the same in the car bli just because they do not again want to get out in the heat: D The sand was incredibly hot, I was the only girl the proper shoes (wearing Janine had been cut in Death Valley to the salt licks her foot because she slipped with her flip flops, so I put on that day as a precaution closed shoes) and even through they were my feet really hot! The girls with the flip flops were a few seconds in the sand even back down from him: D

In the Van, I had that day, unfortunately the bad luck in the last to sit in row (each have has changed day by) in which the air conditioning worked the least. to sweat It was amazing, you just could not stop and I was sweating the whole time completely wet: D-War was sometimes experience worth ne ^ ^

On our campsite there again with the temperature. After a delicious dinner em (Chilli) with a beautiful sunset and are cows in the background, "said tour guide Bill" Are you all ready? Then purely in your swimsuit and off in the van! " None of us had any idea where it was going away, was, after all, already 10 o'clock and pitch dark. After we parked, we still had no idea we were in full swing for in the dark, no lights for miles, only the clear night sky brought a little brightness. Thanks to Bill's flashlight we could see the target then, however: a hot cave in the middle of nature! We were there for about 1 hour and it was just nice hammer! Sarah even said that this is probably one of the most beautiful things she has ever seen ;-) It was really super super nice and the sky was that night also wonderful with lots of shooting stars. How romantic:-D

Back cheer camp we went into the tents, because we wanted to finally be fit for the next day in Yosemite National Park!

Day 3 + 4 - Las Vegas!

counter 16h we arrived at our hotel in Las Vegas. The entrance to the town I slept through, unfortunately, when I opened my eyes we found ourselves already in the middle of the Strip, on one side was the Eiffel Tower, while the other fairy-tale castles, the Freihheitsstatue etc. No, it was not a dream, I was awake and I was actually in Las Vegas!

the hotel, we rested a bit and made all ready for our surprise in the evening. It was rumored a limo or party bus tour of Las Vegas, but the $ 35 made no sense, since the other groups are less had to pay. When we in the evening then the Mandalay Bay Hotel were out, we thought at first that we were allowed to watch the Lion King musical, as it is listed in this hotel. Was not so, but what we were then offered auc h was not bad: a small suite in 27.Stockwerk overlooking Las Vegas, music, drinks and pizza. It was really cool and it has felt like a little star: D After we had spent an hour it went about it in a party bus on the Strip, with stops. It was just cool hammer, something that again is so fast (whrsch never) do not! Truly unforgettable.

The next morning we went first to an hour away Hoover Dam, the largest dam in the United States. While it was quite impressive, but since an insane heat prevailed (45 ° C), I have after about 10 minutes. Consideration of the dam rather preferred a small air-conditioned cafe. Soon, we went back again to Las Vegas where I ran to Robin and Tommy along the Strip. Very cool, but here again the heat was the problem, so we happy when we were finally back on air-conditioned meeting were. Then we went all Chinese food and then went off to the Stratosphere Tower, which rides on its three 350m high peak has. And those 3 rides were tested by us equal time, just great! In a ride to Las Vegas hanging, are shot up in a Free Fall Tower on Las Vegas and are in a small car shot head-down, that was really something special:)

After we had finished, we still watched a water show and that was also terminated Las Vegas. After another night in the hotel it was the next day in the Sierra Nevada, with stops at the hottest place on earth, Death Valley ...

Day 2 - Grand Canyon

at Grand Canyon Airport Annick, Robin and I were sold, as we had booked the 25-minute helicopter flight.
After a short s waiting time we went even going on. I had the space nebe m pilot, which I thought was pretty cool:-D The flight was pretty shaky (which the little boy next to pretty to the stomach suggested ...), but really an experience worth it. A better view could not have, and 25min. flew by.

Then we had another hour to walk around the Grand Canyon. It was really very impressive and beautiful!
Then it went (in my opinion much too early, would have preferred more time spent in the Grand Canyon) to get rid unload to our new campsite, and the same procedure with case, set up tents etc. went off again. In the evening there was a delicious barbecue and then it was too soon in the tents, as we light to return to the 4.15Uhr Grand Canyon drove off to watch the sunrise. Beautiful:) Back at the campsite have abgesattet then a few deer a short visit:-D pretty tough to see so many so close!

After everything was reassembled, it went back into the van and after about 6 hours drive it was called Welcome to the Las Vegaaaaaaaaaaaas fabolous!

Western Sun Tour, Day 1 - Joshua Tree National Park

Sunday morning at 8am then have all met Suntrek tour groups in the Hotel Lobby and were divided. My group consisted of 13 people + tour guide Bill. 6 German e (5 Au Pairs and a boy), 2 Belgians, a Schotteund three Australians.
After the luggage was stowed in the van trailer, we went in the small Suntrek - Van happening in the Joshua Tree National Park.Davor gabs NEN still little stop at the Walk of Fame, and then we drove for almost 3 hours.

After a short picnic on the huge rocks we were walking around a bit, climbing on the rocks and see the Joshua trees. Subsequently, we then presented to our campsite at Lake Tahoe, which forms the border between California and Nevada. The heat there was indescribable, it was not heat as they usually know which one brings to total sweating, simply a stifling heat. Zm Fortunately we were able to cool in the cold lake, before we had dinner and campfire games anschließendeine funny round.

At 12 we went from the tent (my tent Parterin Katrina was from Australia), but were 2 clock we are still growing, because the heat could not fall asleep. At 6am we went even get out of the tent, because it was when it was once woken up, just could not stand it!

After the tents dismantled and all the luggage was stowed back in the trailer, went off to the Grand Canyon, with stops at the original London Bridge (unfortunately white I do not, for what the bridge is known ...), which was herübergeschifft of London!

On the way to the Grand Canyon, we passed also on the original Route 66! There has not really old shops that met all American clichés!

After a drive of about 5 hours we then arrived at the airport to the Grand Canyon, as the two Belgians and I had booked a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon. More on that in next entry ...
